Now we’ve come to Masamune’s dramatic route. Basically his route all the way up to Chapter 10, and then you can choose the dramatic route. But first a little description on the other route I discovered while playing the Vita version. I can’t really understand Japanese apart from words here and there, so I don’t know exactly what happened to get that route. It left me broken for a week. Seriously, it was heartbreaking. MC ends up going Masamune’s place- at least it seems that way because the background is that of Aoba Castle in the phone game. Suddenly there is a swirling motion, and the wormhole shows up. All you can hear is Masamune’s voice getting muffled and then MC wakes up in the hospital where she eventually sees Sasuke. It hits pretty hard on the feelings.

Now to the dramatic, but happy ending route. Just like the romantic route, MC has decided to stay with Masamune no matter what. In this instance, MC wants to say goodbye to Sasuke in Kyoto when he leaves. Yukimura also comes along to say goodbye as well. Which makes a comedic trip because he insults Masamune by calling his food slop…and then ends up being somewhat impressed.

Once they reach Kyoto the wormhole starts to appear, but Masamune pushes MC out of the way from lightning. Masamune ends up getting stuck in the building which catches on fire. MC begins to cry and yells to Masamune to wait for her. He tells he would wait for her, and not to cry, because he loves her smile. And with that, MC returns home. Sasuke apologizes to her and tells her he would try to figure out when the next wormhole would be. It turns out to be a year later. Sasuke calls MC and tells her to meet with him. They head to the area where he calculated the wormhole, and he was off by a little bit. MC runs as hard as she can into the wormhole, and then ends up smacking into Masamune, knocking him on the ground.

Masamune had stayed in Kyoto the whole year, fixing up the temple that he had been stuck in. Yukimura had pulled him out, but there were burn marks on Masamune…adding to the battle scars he already had. In his side story, he talks about his feelings and how it hurt him not to see her and wipe away her tears, and he wasn’t sure if she was smiling back home.  It’s like a whole new level of emotion with Masamune in this route and this makes him even more lovable. He whispers MC’s name in the air and that’s when she collides into him and knocks him on the ground. Startled he looks up to see MC and is shocked. After realizing she was once again with him, MC starts to cry. Masamune’s body is shaking with emotion, and yet he still tries to deny it. After so many touches and kisses, Masamune is really confused by MC’s outfit, which is an exercise outfit and sneakers. He runs his hands all over her as MC tells him about the clothing. And old Masamune comes back. He wants to take those clothes off of her, with no hesitation from MC whatsoever. MC is on the floor as Masamune straddles her and uses a short sword to cut her top open and to remove her bra. It’s pretty obvious what those two end up doing, and soon after MC wakes up in one of the temple rooms.

Masamune comes into the room, and with him, a kimono for MC. This isn’t a regular kimono however. He took the drawing he had since MC had drawn it for him a year before and had it made into a kimono. That drawing had been through hell and back; being soaked when MC was kidnapped by Yukimura and Sasuke. And then it was covered in blood when Masamune was shot. So when Masamune gave her the kimono, he even mentioned the original color had been ruined.

Masamune tells MC that they would have to return to Azuchi because there were a “couple of worrywarts” waiting for them, and they would chase him all the way to Oshu if they didn’t go back.

So they make their way back and during that trip back, Masamune sweeps her off her feet and tells her that he’s caught her. The moment is so incredibly happy you can just feel it. Especially Masamune. Being apart made him realize he wants to do more things with her, day after day and he was going to enjoy every single moment of it.

They get back to Azuchi where Nobunaga holds a feast for them. Meanwhile the whole time since they arrived, MC is feeling jealousy build up and starts thinking Masamune had been with someone else while they were apart. But this feeling starts after a woman approached Masamune and thanked him for his help with teaching her about cooking/baking. (I can’t exactly remember which one it is at the moment.) The behavior seems a bit friendly to MC but she stays quiet. Not only this, but Nobunaga jokingly teases MC, trying to get a kiss from her, and Masamune doesn’t do a thing about it.

MC opens up her feelings to Mitsuhide- which she shouldn’t have done in the first place, because we all know he’s nothing but trouble. She tells him that she’s afraid Masamune had been with someone else, and Mitsuhide says that there might have been one or two. This sets MC off and she goes outside, where Ieyasu happens to be. Hideyoshi reprimands Mitsuhide and tells him that his idea of fun was mean. (Hideyoshi is my second man- I love him to bits LOL).

MC starts telling Ieyasu how she’s feeling, and Ieyasu surprisingly comes up with a plan that MC can test out with Masamune. This really shocked me, seeing how it was IEYASU…the one who comes across grumpy and irritated at everyone, including MC! He pushes MC to the floor, moving on top of her. This makes me think Ieyasu had feelings for her the entire time. It makes sense because he always showed concern for her, and even warned her to stay away from Masamune.

Masamune comes out to see where MC is and finds Ieyasu on top of her. MC tries to act surprised as she calls out to him, but her acting….its extremely poor and Masamune laughs. Ieyasu tells MC to stop worrying and to talk to Masamune- and then walks away.

When they return to his manor at Azuchi, MC asks him if he had been with anyone else. And then asked about jealousy. Masamune asks her if she thinks he doesn’t get jealous. He explains to her that he can differentiate between joking around and when something seems serious. He told her if he thought someone was going to take her from him, that would be it for them. He’d kill them.

Masamune admitted that he thought Ieyasu was showing some signs of something, which made MC think he would hurt Ieyasu. He said he wouldn’t do that. Masamune then assures her that he only wants to kiss her, and do other things …with her and her alone. And with typical smooth moves and words from Masamune, the two make passionate love. Which is pretty much the description for all the times they do it.

His route is so enjoyable, I love him to bits. What I didn’t enjoy as much is that in both routes Sasuke returns home. With the routes I have read, Sasuke stays in the Sengoku period along with MC. I always like the visits and talks Sasuke has with MC so he’s grown on me too.

I’ll review Hideyoshi Toyotomi’s route next!
