Here we have a Banpresto figure of the one and only Saitama from One Punch Man. I discovered it at Hot Topic, again an outlet down at the beaches in my state. I’ve been very lucky finding these figures at a regular retail shop, but this should be said that it’s the really mainstream anime merchandise, such as Dragon Ball and My Hero Academia. So finding Saitama was a huge shock.

This Saitama is pretty decent for being the affordable Banpresto figure. The face is a little bit off, at least in my opinion it is. But really, that’s probably the most difficult part of the body to actually get perfect.

The pose is spot on though; it’s that heroic “walking away from a tremendous fight” walk, and the fact that his cape is flowing in the air makes it even better. There is an extreme amount of emotion in this figure; emotion as in the “tough guy.”

It’s an extremely detailed figure, especially since he is wearing one of those almost skin-tight uniforms.

My phone doesn’t really take the most excellent photos so I think for now on, I will definitely use my actual camera so the photos don’t look so blurry.

The figure comes with a pole, which I’m confused as to why because everything holds up well on their own. The cape definitely doesn’t need support, so maybe the pole is there just in case there are any problems.

The creases in both the clothing and the cape are nicely detailed. You can easily see the muscles Saitama has due to how the uniform looks on him.

The facial expression. Again, sorry for the blurry photo. The facial expression is pretty accurate as to how Saitama usually is.

I’m hoping they make a figure of him in his day-to-day clothing, as it would be nice to see how his personality changes between how he is on a typical normal day in comparison to the fighting enemies Saitama.

Overall this is a nice figure to add to a collection. It’s something you expect from a lower priced item, but it’s not a bad figure. My Saitama doesn’t have any flaws on it, and is actually in excellent condition. I usually give these figures positive reviews because for the most part, they are actually pretty good for being lower than 30.00 dollars. It’s hard to come across figures that don’t have some kind of flaw to them. Even the more expensive ones I have seen on display have some kind of mark on them.

So if you are looking for a Saitama figure, you should keep this one in mind.
