Jotaro Kujo. He’s one of my favorites from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures. He’s moody and just as handsome as Joseph Joestar.  Well I picked up a Jotaro figure through Amazon. Since it was coming from overseas; I figure it would take some time to arrive. The details of the figure is amazing. The thing is you put him together, and then, just like other figures, Jotaro comes with clear plastic pieces to wrap around his feet to keep him upright. The detailing on Jotaro is just incredible and he’s a lot bigger than I thought he would be. Not that I am complaining. It’s actually nice to have a variety on figures.

Jotaro is posing in his usual pose. Going back to detail, there are so many positives on that alone. Just like the Joseph Joestar figure, Jotaro has crease lines not only on the pants but his shirt as well. The jacket completely blew me away. The coat blowing back as though Jotaro was standing in the wind is a great touch. The gold chain that is part of the coat is a nice touch. It was an easy clip to the coat’s collar. The best part of the JJBA figures that are owned, they are pretty much on par to the actual anime characters

Jotaro is completely different than Joseph though.  The Joseph figure has more detail on the clothing and the hair. Not saying Jotaro isn’t that detailed; he really is. Because they are made by two different companies, of course there will be differences.

Now the plastic pieces to keep Jotaro up; I’m still trying to figure how they actually work. No instructions came with the figure, so you need to play around with the pieces until they seem right. My Jotaro has a bit of difficulty standing up, but I would say it’s user error. LOL. I’ve seen extremely positive reviews for this figure, and that was another reason I decided to get this Jotaro. There were no complaints on the way to get him standing okay without falling backward.

A particular position has helped, and he’s been okay. So the suggestion is to make sure the pieces are tight enough to keep him in place; but not enough to snap his feet off.

The coloring of the clothes are another thing that caught my eye while I was looking it up on Amazon. The purple/wine color of the shirt stands out a lot, and the belt pops out with their colors.The accuracy of the hat and coat are spot on.

People may favor those anime figures where they can create their own poses, but Jotaro is a very bright addition to any anime collection. If you love JJBA, and a fan of Jotaro Kujo, this is one figure you should consider buying.
