I am back! School is nearly over so I have a little bit more time now to start my reviews again. There’s been quite a few things I’ve gotten over the past few months, so let me begin with my Leorio figure.

Leorio is one of my favorite characters in Hunter x Hunter, I don’t know why, but he is. But the figure itself is quite nice, and the resemblance is really good as well. Leorio has always had that “older than he looks” appearance, despite the fact he’s like 19 or so. You don’t really see him in anything but his suit, which doesn’t really help him look his actual age. He even has his sideburns detailed on the sides of his face

The Banpresto figure comes with a stand, and at first it’s a bit difficult to place him on, but afterwards, he stays put really well. This was an amazon purchase, which again, tends to be my go-to spot, although Ebay makes a great spot as well.

Leorio is an average sized figure, and he has a great pose that fits his character perfectly. What I always find incredible with any type of figures, but especially anime, is the detailing the artists put into the folds of clothing. Which is actually really important because if they don’t have that detailing, the figures would actually look pretty stiff.

There are a lot of hit or miss anime figures out there. They could be expensive and still not look like the character that it is supposed to be. You can find amazing figures for a lower cost; it’s always by what the reviews that the figure is given that let’s you know if the figure is any good or not.

With Leorio, it was a difficult decision at first, simply because Amazon doesn’t really give the buyer good enough pictures. But other buyers will post pictures of figures they have received and sometimes that is good enough to make a purchase or not.

When comparing the figure Leorio to Kurapika’s figure, there is a noticeable difference in detail, that being Kurapika has *slightly* better detailing, and he is also a bigger figure. But nevertheless, Leorio is still a figure that is worth getting. Especially if you are a Hunter x Hunter fan.

Banpresto always seems to have great figures, and Leorio is added to the list of “worth buying” figures.
