Funko has really outdone themselves with the Shingeki No Kyojin figures. They do some amazing stuff for these weird but also cool looking things. The fact they are even focusing on a lot of anime these days, is pretty awesome. If they can branch out on other anime series that AREN’T mainstream such SnK and Yuri on Ice, that would even be more awesome. Despite the silly appearances, the details especially on Titan Annie and Titan Reiner are very good.
Annie is actually in the pose she is well known for having, and you can tell who the figure is supposed to be. Right down to her body, which is a skinless muscular shell, basically. The bigger figures are much more sturdy than the smaller Pop!
figures, especially if one didn’t come with a base. Which a lot of them do, but for some reason my Asuna figure didn’t have one. On to Reiner. Reiner, for those who don’t know, is the Armored Titan and it’s very very hard to defeat him, because as the name says, he is armored. The figure has his hairstyle, complete with the textured look, and that incredibly scary face that the Armored Titan has in the anime. Again, as he is a bigger figure, he is very sturdy and won’t fall down so easily. His eyes are colored differently than Annie’s, obviously.
Now, with him, it’s slightly difficult to tell what his body is made of, but those that know the show, will know that’s his armored skin. I think even the most pickiest anime collector will enjoy having these…just because they are so different from the usual collectible figures.
Cleaning Levi. Oh yes, there is a Cleaning Levi and everyone loves him. Apparently Levi is a complete neat freak and has to clean everything that seems filthy. With the Cleaning
Levi figure, Funko has definitely got that one down pat. Levi is well loved by many Shingeki No Kyojin fans, and so when we were introduced to Cleaning Levi…the memes began. The pose is nicely done, and so is his hair and facial expression. Which people would think was difficult, because a lot of the figures have kind of a generic look to them. Not Levi. I love his hair in general. His hair is done really, really well; including the rag he uses on his head. If you haven’t bought them, they are actually worth getting. These you can order online, and Hot Topic carries them as well. With that all said…I leave you with this:
