Episode four starts off with Asuza and Tsubaki onstage announcing a new video game, “Panzer of the Dead”, and the roles they are voicing . Both of them are voice actors. They
meet with Yusuke and Ema in the Green room and wants to celebrate with them. Ema says she played no part in helping them, but Asuza insists, saying that she is their sibling now.
Ema tells them she had never been to a video game event before so it was fun for her. She asks when “Panzer of the Dead” comes out, and Tsubaki thinks it will be the next year, but he will check with Natsume. He also tells her Natsume may be able to give her a sample of the game to try since it is his company making the game.
Yusuke asks why is there only green tea and water when they are celebrating, and Tsubaki explains both him and Azusa have an important meeting on a new project. It’s still a secret that neither one can talk about it. But Tsubaki does say it’s for an anime
series that got green-lit and it was one that inspired him to become a voice actor. Yusuke thinks for a moment and he realizes what they are auditioning for.
He thinks they are auditioning for the same role, but Azusa tells Yusuke that he is not auditioning for the lead role, but Tsubaki is. Azusa explains he is auditioning for the role of the rival of the main character. Ema tells them the idea of them playing as rivals sounds wonderful.
It’s obvious Juli does not trust Yusuke or Tsubaki at all ; when Ema comes home, he runs over to her and tells her he was worried about her because she was with both of
them. A majority of the brothers won’t be at home, Yusuke is getting study guides, and Futo messages Ema saying he won’t be coming home, but when he does, they should watch another movie together.
Kaname calls and tells Ema he wanted to eat dinner with her, but is “forced” to go eat with a patron. He comes across as guy trying to be as seductive as he possibly can. Masoami calls and tells Ema that a patient is in poor health and he has to stay at the hospital. So most of the brothers won’t be home with Ema and the youngest, Wataru.
Subaru does come home, and I really feel for him. I really do. Ever since he fell on top of Ema, apologizing for saying she was a pain; he hasn’t really been doing well with basketball. After eating quickly, he stands up to leave and suddenly turns to Ema and
tells her he was dropped from the lineup and isn’t in any games, but he would like for her to watch him play once he gets back in the regular lineup.
Azusa gets a phone call from the agency and he is informed he got the part…but the part he got was the role Tsubaki wanted. Ema checks the mailbox and sees Natsume had sent her the game. Meanwhile Tsubaki walks by and doesn’t say a word. He knows he didn’t get the part and is dejected. Ema tells him that Natsume sent the game, and he gives her a sad smile and leaves.
Ema tells Juli it was strange between Tsubaki and Azusa, and Juli tells her the two are always strange. Ema tells Juli that she feels emotions playing the zombie game; that it’s more emotional. She tells Juli that Azusa and Tsubaki are amazing. Juli notes it’s the power of voice acting.
Ema gets stuck in a certain area on the game and glances over to see Natsumes’ business card. They meet for dinner, and Natsume asks how it is at home, and we find out it’s four
months after their parents got married. Natsume also wonders what Ema is stuck on in the game and she tells him the desert zone, and the final boss, in which Natsume says she put in a lot of hours on the game.
Azusa calls Natsume and asks if he has seen Tsubaki, and Tsubaki never came home. Natsume asks Ema if she know anything about it. Natsume figures it out and he tells her that because they use voice actors in games, they have channels to hear things. He tells Ema about a certain anime show, without saying the name, that inspired Tsubaki to go into voice acting. Azusa got the lead role instead.
Natsume walks back to the station with Ema, not wanting to let his little sister walk alone
in the dark. Both don’t have Christmas plans, but Natsume will be busy with video games as it’s the biggest time of the year for his company. He gives Ema his scarf as an early Christmas present.
When Ema arrives home she sees Azusa sitting outside. She approaches him and they start talking with one another. He tells her he won’t accept the role, because that was a role that belonged to Tsubaki. The two brothers have a closeness and loyalty to one another that no one else has. Tsubaki does come back home, and he wants Azusa to take the part. If Tsubaki can’t have the role, he would rather hear the character’s voice coming from Azusa.
Tsubaki stands outside looking at the night sky with Ema, and kisses her. He notices the scarf that is wrapped around her neck, and he points out that it was menswear. Tsubaki tells her it looks like something he would wear, and it pisses him off. The episode ends , and everyone, especially Tsubaki, is feeling better.
